Lieke Anna is a storytelling artist from Breskens, a small fisherman's village in the South of the Netherlands, and is currently based in Tilburg. From here she adores to explore the world around her. She lives near a cute forest which makes for a quiet base from where on out she creates her conceptual photographs. She is a graduate of the School of Arts in Tilburg with a degree in Visual Communication and has been working as an artist ever since. Telling stories through imagery, Lieke Anna explores the conceptual way of creating and storytelling through her work. Creating from within, shining a light on the dark matters of life we tend to stay away from and evoking emotions of the viewer to show that this vulnerability is in fact a strength. She searches for the contrast in the fragility and strength of the human. She uses photography as a way to paint her reality into meaningful imagery. GearAwardsHonorable Mention
